Kristy McDowell
Director
Kristy has 20 years of experience as a Senior staffer for both not for profit and Government entities. Kristy has devoted her career to supporting parents in various settings, including positive parenting, attending meetings and advocating legal advice, court proceedings, counselling, medical, housing, education, centre-link.
Kristy was employed by the Department of Communities (Child Protection) as a Family Resource Coordinator for 18 years managing staff at an Enhanced Contact Centre for parents and children working toward reunification, followed by three years at Wungening Aboriginal Corporation as a Senior Family Support worker on an Intensive In-Home Support Program. Kristy has a vast array of solid contacts within the industry and can utilise these to service any family in any situation.
Luke Spies
Director
Luke is a qualified chartered accountant with experience in tax and management accounting. He is currently the financial controller for the Supercivil group, managing three entities, responsible for budgeting, cash flow management, management accounts, forecasting and capital purchasing.
Luke spent time at the accounting firm BDO, working with small to medium-sized businesses, advising on working capital requirements, budgeting and tax issues.
Matthew McDowell
Director
Matt is the sole owner and director of Supercivil Pty Ltd, a large civil construction company focusing on the maintenance of WA roads. Matt has successfully designed and implemented the “Low Cost Widening” methodology, used to widen Western Australia roads.
Matt also solely owns and operates Perth Asphalt Supply Pty Ltd, an asphalt supply business and is joint owner and director of Aboriginal company YongaCivil Pty Ltd. Matt has extensive knowledge of how to start and operate a successful business and is deeply passionate about assisting the marginalised in the community.
